The original line is 'polished' and so probably needs to be replaced.
Eyelet replacement 16th March 2023 in the red sail.
The eyelets were set after a piece of dacron was attached using transfer adhesive and then oversewn. The hole punching tool makes a snug fit for the larger eyelet component and then the smaller element is placed and set with eyelet pliers.

The end caps of the rokkakus and other kite that Jørgen made are extremely tough and I think that they could be used as a protector for the banner stakes when hammering them into the sand!
