Jørgen prepared the design in 2007 and the kites were delivered finally at the Portsmouth event in 2008.
The two yellow kites from each set were gifted.
In order to extend the useful life of the two sets of kites it was decided that they would be kept together and only used at formal team events.
The kites were used extensively until the earlier 1.5 design from 1997 were re-made in 2015.
In 2016 preparations were made to set the kites up as stacks. This took some time to complete but the stacked sets were flown together at Cervia 2019.

This was the occasion for the first flight.

The Rev 1s and Rev 1.5s in the Jørgen Møller Hansen 2007 design work very well together.
The black element on the smaller sails is broader, otherwise it is difficult to tell them apart.
