We were clearly using stepped line lengths so the fourth flier was out of shot in the stack image! The lines are visible and the edge of a shadow.

It looks as if the kites are being flown in a fairly strong breeze give the postures of the fliers.

The kites were the Tim Benson Phantoms that the team acquired after meeting him at an event at Birmingham in 1989.
