This was the team's seventeenth visit to Cervia. On this occasion the number of guest flyers involved on the line was repeatedly as high as it could be but the distinction between guest and long term Cervia contributor has become blurred. Jim and Lynn have been taking part since 2015, Philippe and David since 2019. New for 2025 were Sébastien and Michel.
This year saw some further multi flier efforts with the Jørgen Møller Hansen kites and Revolution kites.
And then there is lunch at 111...
Sometime from 2010 onwards we were invited to join others for lunch at 111 and then graduated to our own table, not least because, having set up early on the beach, getting an early lunch gave us the opportunity of utilising the lunch time pause in the main arena!
In 2019 Caterina asked us to site our base outside 111 in a new arena configuration. That consolidated arrangements; kite storage cabins and lunch at the same place.

First day and the fifth Rokkaku from 1991 was delivered from Rudi Schwenger by Philippe. The new frame fitted perfectly and a short flight followed.

Thanks to Franca Perletti for these images of one of the first sessions of the event. Franca has been photographing the kites and fliers at Cervia for many years now.
The core team for the event was Ashley, Philippe, Chris, Jim, Lynn, Sébastien, David and Felix.
(Early on in the event Sébastien was taking a chair onto the field as he is recovering from fracture injuries.)
Franca often finds interesting images.
(This images looks like 'my' lines at a regular point in the proceedings where they are overlaid and turn upwards by more than 60 degrees. FJM)
Large Team Flying 25th April
Max Stohanzl kindly sent us some images including an expanded team flight, late morning on 25th April. The list of fliers is as follows:- Felix, David, Chris, Lynn, Philippe, Michel, Henry, Connor, Sébastien, Philippe on Web, Jim and Ashley.
This was possibly the only day that the mid-vent Decs Team Kites were flown.

The 1992 Parafoil was flown in the afternoon and some images 'in the round' were captured.
There was an accumulation of sand in the trailing edge which was eventually emptied on the final day of the event.
The 1988 Flare was flown later in the afternoon and also on 1st May.
The kite pulls up very quickly and can sometimes veer off to either side but responds to the flier following the kite to reduce the line pressure.

This session was against a well articulated cloudscape, a team of eight flying the Rev 1.5s in the 1997 Jørgen Møller Hansen design.
Philippe's red and black banners formed a useful edge to the 'performance area' which was shared with Team 4 Fun, Vulandra and Rolf Zimmermann.
The fliers in this session were Philippe, David, Michel, Lynn, Jim, Sébastien, Chris and Ashley.
There were various sequences where many images were captured so this is a limited selection.
