Decorators Not Zens with Jørgen Møller Hansen Roks 28th April
In 1992 Jørgen did a second design for the Revolution kite and also designed and made a set of four rokkaku kites. A trip to Denver and the AKA meeting at Lubbock followed but the team did not really get to fly the Revs and Roks together.
The framing and bridling of the roks has been modified over the last couple of years and the roks have been stacked however this flight at Cervia 2025 was probably the first time the kites have been flown singly together.
Longer lines may be needed to realise this project as in this session Rev fliers kept on flying too high and seeing their kites fall out of the sky!
The Not Zens were fabricated in 2022 based on the 1992 graphic.
The format obviously needs multiple fliers with good control and an understanding of the 'abstract' flying concept.
The occasional apparent 'organised' arrangement of kites is an accident really!
The fliers on this occasion were... (to follow)
Team Flying 28th April
David, Ode, Helen, Lynn, Jim, Philippe, Chris and Ashley were the fliers on this session.
This final image is 'out of place' as the crowd has vanished!
Team Flying 29th April
This session was almost overlooked which is a little surprising as it was quite focused even if it was a morning session!
It appears that there were not many other kites in the sky.
The slightly stark white of this set looked very good against the plain blue sky and the dark shadows of the pine forest.
The fliers were probably Ashley, David, Philippe, Jim, Lynn, Michel, Sébastien and Chris.

The 3m Rokkakus were flown together again.
