I attended an event recently celebrating 50 Years of Acme and today found some images from the space that I occupied at 52 Acre Lane in Brixton between 1977 and 1984 or thereabouts. I am hoping to find more photos but was very happy to find these ones from early on in my time there!

I do not remember much about the initial preparation of the studio space as I was working at Liberty's to fund the project.

I worked part time at The Whitechapel Art Gallery from May 1978 - January 1983 and started full time work at Waddington Galleries on January 31st 1983. I gave up the studio space some time after moving to Hackney in 1984.
