A weekend visit to Japan
Juliette and I arrived at the Ryokan in Uchinada on Friday 2nd May having travelled from Heathrow to Narita and then from Haneda to Kanazawa airports.
We met iQuad as they arrived a little later.

There were many teams setting up and flying large Edo kites.

I was invited to join the line flying Ben's grey sail.
Lunch on Saturday.

Later, at the Kite Clubhouse... where Juliette and I had dinner in 2007 or was that 2004?.
Sunday 4th May.
At some point on Sunday 4th May there was a tentative grid fly with the Revolution kites.
The ship kite that was on stage the previous evening was flown as well.

Dinner at the Ryokan, Sunday evening...
...followed by karaoke!
On Monday 5th May we travelled back to Tokyo and stayed at the Royal Park Hotel, flying back to London the following day.
