The lighting level was low as indicated at the entrance and it is somewhat extraordinary that I was able to capture a few images. They are, of course, very low resolution!
The problem with the theatrical lighting, as I had anticipated, is that it both flattens the works and also distances them. They are almost becoming 'projected' images... as from a slide projector!
Re-cycling Tate owned works is fine, of course, but I will look forwards to seeing the paintings in 'real space' again when this presentation is over.
In the meantime, on exiting I stepped across the corridor to look at the Richard Long works again.
