Departed from Hackney 7:50am, arrived Wareham 11:50am after a detour around the outskirts of Poole. Lunch in Wareham as planned before setting off to Kimmeridge Bay
Kimmeridge Bay was not a place that I can remember visiting in the 60's or 70's. I will go back and walk to the west side of the bay at some point to get a closer look at the cliffs beyond Brandy Bay, south of Tyneham.
The SW Coastal Path is marked now to the west but I do not know if it will actually be open very often.
Falcon Barn in its winter condition.
The view towards West Chaldon.
Outside the gate looking east.
Looking west, Portland and Weymouth.
Composite image.
Down at Ringstead village.
Looking east at White Nothe.
White Nothe with the Coastguard Cottages is a defining image. Always good to go back to review the current appearence.
Fireplace stone surround, New Inn, Cerne Abbas.
Window and stone surround, decidedly not draught proof.
