We caught a train from Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi Station and then there was a short walk to the ferry terminal.
We had booked a room at the Iwaso Inn, founded in 1854.
We visited Itsukushima Jinja, the Shito SHrine and saw a wedding ceremony.
We made our way via the biscuit shop to the cable car (Miyajima Ropeway) which took us up to the Shishiiwa Observatory and we walked to the Mount Misen Observatory via Misen Main Hall and Dainichido Temple.
