Nineth visit on Tuesday 19th November.
I arrived at about 10:10am and the first room looked very busy.
Wandering further into the exhibition it was much less busy than on previous visits.
I took the opportunity to take some 'installation' shots after proofing a couple of the images from last weeks visit. The 'Yellow House' and 'Fifteen Sunflowers' were definitely undersaturated, finally.

The images of 'The Garden of Saint-Paul Hospital, Saint-Rémy: November, 1889' were very close.
I looked at a couple of the other hospital garden paintings but did not find any particular attraction.

I took a look at 'The Road Menders' and having not looked at the title found the two figures on the right of the painting sketched speedily by the looks of it!
I guess that the piles of material might be similar to those in 'Yellow House' but here they look more rubble like.
I got the impression that this painting was not as fully resolved as some of the others.

I went back to 'The Bridge at Trinquetaille' and used the back screen of the camera to catch a more focused close-up of the top of the painting.
The uncompleted composition is 'interesting' in some way!

(The lilac he mentions has discoloured over time. The Trinquetaille Bridge linked the centre of Arles to the suburb of Trinquetaille on the opposite bank of the Rhône.)
